Land of Lakes
There are over a hundred lakes throughout the Brodnickie Lakeland, while the Brodnicki Landscape Park was established to protect the most valuable areas. It includes forty water bodies and large forested areas that belong to the Green Lungs of Poland. It is therefore an excellent place for a holiday close to nature, away from the crowds of tourists.

The largest town located there is Brodnica, where the 14th-century Teutonic castle is particularly memorable. In its heyday, the place was heavily fortified; currently, only the remains can be admired. The castle tower definitely stands out – it is an excellent vantage point over the town and surroundings – but it is also worth going down to the underground chambers, where museum exhibitions are presented.

A characteristic feature of Lake Zbiczno is its numerous bays and peninsulas, which create an interesting shoreline. Along the shores of the lake, there are many tourist towns where you can find lots of attractions, such as water equipment rentals, bars and restaurants, and holiday resorts.
